BMS Series 1000 (Belt Management system) Patent applied for:

The primary function of the BMS series 1000 is to monitor belt width and location. This enables the system to manage:

  • Belt width- this could be edge damage or belt rip which would cause a change in belt width.
  • Belt wander- which could be caused by loading off centre, blocked chute or a collapsed bearing.

The system can be utilized in a stand alone application or integrated with existing PLC/SCADA control system.
